Terms and conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully as they apply to all purchase made by you the customer from us Nurseryland Ltd via our website.  These can change from time to time, so we advise that you should check before you make any new purchases.

  1. General
    1. Nuseryland Ltd cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions on this website, with regards to price, descriptions, specifications of any item or service which we offer.
    2. Any discrepencies will be rectified as soon as it becomes apparent and any orders taken will not be despatched until the error has been resolved.  An e-mail will be sent to notify you, the customer, regarding any changes and the order will not be despatched until you have given  authorisation in acceptance of the said changes,  this must be done via e-mail.
    3. By proceeding with your order you will enter into a contract and as such,  have accepted the full terms & conditions stated by Nurseryland Ltd and any limitations they incur.
    4. We operate a fully secure purchase area on our website,  and any personal information is subject to the industry SSL standard encryption for the processing of all personal information.
  2. Delivery
    1. All items over the value of £50 will be delivered free of charge,  this offer can be revoked at any time prior to confirmation of order.
    2. All products will be despatched within 7 days of the date of order confirmation or a reasonable and acceptable time. Some items can be shipped on 24 hour delivery,  this will be advises at time of order.
    3. Unfortunately certain items we are not allowed to ship outside of mainland Uk,  shipping to the Scottish Highlands and Islands will incur additional shipping charges.
    4. We will only ship to the billing address,  unless we have given prior acceptance at point of ordering.
    5. All delivery dates are given as an estimate and we will endeavour to comply with these.  Where no delivery date is given, it will be within a reasonable time.   
    6. Furniture deliverys are usually by the manufacturers couriers and delivery times quoted can vary and are subject to availibilty.
    7. Ranges of furniture which are to be assembled, please note that the empty boxes will not be taken away. 
    8. Any damaged packages or missing items must be noted on the proof of delivery,  failure to do so may result in any claim becoming void and any replacement being chargeable.
    9. All missing or damaged items must be reported to ourselves with 24 hours of receipt of delivery.
  3. Non Delivery of items
    1. Any item which is not delivered must be reported via e-mail
  4. Prices & PAYMENTS
    1. All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT
    2. The price which Nurseryland will charge you for the products wishing to be purchased will be the price quoted on our website at the point of ordering
    3. Full payment will be taken at the time of order , all card details must match the billing address , any mismatches will result in the order being cancelled.
    1. Should you wish to return a item which you deem to be faulty you must contact our sales team, who will give you a returns authorisation number,  this must be displayed on the outer packaging of the items wishing to be returned, we will also need e-mail confirmation with regards to the reason of the item being returned.  All returns will be subjected to a minimum return carriage charge of £15 per box and the item must be returned in its original packaging.  No responsibility  will be accepted by Nurseryland Ltd due to damages incurred due to inappropriate packaging. Once the item is received and inspected by our team, if the item is defective due to faulty workmanship or materials the carriage charge will be refunded.
    2. Many issues,  however can be resolved without having to return the entire item,  please contact us directly for further advise regarding the best way to resolve these.
    3. Should you decide to return the item to us at your own arrangement,  please note that any liability will not be accepted by Nurseryland Ltd due to missing or damaged items. 
    4. Your name address and contact number must be enclosed on all return items.
    5. The above applies also to items wishing to be returned due to being unwanted products,  please contact our sales team who will arrange collection.  However,  the cost of the return carriage will be chargeable to youself and this will be advised at the time,  cost dependent on product etc. 
    6. All items must be returned in an un-used condition and with all the original packaging complete.
    7. Items wishing to be returned once used are subject to the manufacturers warrantees.  Authorisation to return such items must be first acquired from Nurseryland Ltd, a carriage charge may apply.  Once received and inspected a repair, replacement or refund will be offered, if the fault is deemed to be of a manufacturing nature.  Otherwise a chargeable repair will be offered if it is deemed to be customer miss-use or fair wear and tear. 
  6. Cancellation of Order
    1. Under  the distance selling agreement you are within your rights to cancel your order up to 7 days after receiving the items.  Any cancellation must be in writing or e-mail.  Return carriage charges will apply.  This does not affect your statutory rights.
